My Public IP

Look up your public IP address (IPv4 / IPv6) using the ipify API.

Find the public IP address your network presents to the internet. The lookup runs only when you click the button.

This tool sends a request to the third-party service ipify.org to detect your IP. No data is stored.

How to use

  1. Choose Auto (prefers IPv6, falls back to IPv4) or force IPv4.
  2. Click the lookup button to query the ipify API.
  3. Copy the returned address with the copy button.
  4. The request goes to ipify.org; nothing is stored by Tool Hub.

Examples

  • Auto mode may return an IPv6 address such as 2001:db8::1 on a dual-stack network.
  • IPv4 mode returns a dotted address such as 203.0.113.42.
