Color Blind Simulator

Simulate Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia color vision deficiencies via canvas matrix transform

How to use

  1. Upload an image by clicking the upload button.
  2. Select the color vision deficiency type: Protanopia (red-blind), Deuteranopia (green-blind), or Tritanopia (blue-blind).
  3. Compare the simulated output image with the original to identify hard-to-distinguish color pairs.
  4. Download the simulated PNG to share with teammates or include in accessibility reports.
  5. All processing runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.

Examples

  • Uploading a chart that uses red and green bars, then selecting Deuteranopia, shows both bars at nearly identical brightness — a strong signal to add patterns or labels.
  • A UI screenshot run through Tritanopia simulation reveals that blue buttons and grey disabled states become visually indistinct.

Verify outputs before using in production. No warranty — see Terms.
