How to use
- Click "Upload image" and select a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or other image file.
- Choose the output format (JPEG, WebP, or PNG) and set a quality percentage.
- Optionally set a max width in pixels to also resize the image.
- Click "Recompress" to apply new settings, then download the result. Everything runs in your browser.
Examples
- Uploading a 3 MB photo, choosing WebP at 75% quality and max width 1920 px typically reduces file size by 60–80%.
- Switching to PNG (lossless) disables the quality slider and produces a pixel-perfect output at a larger file size.
